Huawei CFO arrested in Vancouver by Canadian authorities

On Wednesday, Canadian authorities arrested Wanzhou Meng Huawei's CFO and daughter of the co-founder of Huawei, Ren Zhengfei while she was switching flights in Vancouver. This was done at the request of United States law enforcement. She is alleged by the Eastern District of New York to evading sanctions against Iran. Also today, the CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) director warned Canadians about "state-sponsored espionage" with 5G networks that are currently in development with both Telus and Bell. Rogers has been holding 5G test trials with Ericcson. This is all happening...
