A shakeup at Apple's top will see current Vice President of Hardware Engineering John Ternus become the Senior VP, while now-former SVP Dan Riccio will be working on a "new project" at Apple. John Ternus has been the VP under Riccio since 2013 and led the team that designed the hardware of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, as well as working on the M1 chip.
