Canalys has posted its quarterly report on the PC and tablet market, and the numbers for Q1 2021 are more than impressive - computers and slates doubled in sales on a yearly basis, while Chromebooks in particular posted a whopping a 275% increase. Canalys is keeping the Chromebooks in a separate category because they are indeed laptops or two-in-one devices, but at the same time, they are more affordable with a different Chrome-based UI, catered to a specific audience.
