After Apple and Samsung released their smart tag offerings, it looks as if other OEMs want to join the party. And according to a trademark filing on May 18, OnePlus might be the next in line. It has reportedly filed for the name "OnePlusTag". Of course, this might not mean what we think it means but odds are it's about a competitor to Apple's AirTag and Samsung's SmartTag. This might also be taken as a hint that OnePlus' future devices would support Ultra Wideband (UWB) because the future smart tag won't work with current OnePlus devices. Via 1 • Via 2
