New Motorola Edge launches in the US with 144 Hz display, Snapdragon 778G chipset

To complement the already unveiled Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, Edge 20 Lite, and Edge 20 Fusion, Motorola has a new Edge smartphone to show us. This is simply (and very confusingly) called Motorola Edge (yes, exactly like the original Edge from last year), and is meant for the North American market. It will go on sale in the US on September 2 for $500. It comes with a 6.7" 1080x2460 144 Hz LCD display with 576Hz touch latency, the Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a water repellant coating (with IP52 rating), a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 5,000 mAh battery...
