Qualcomm on Thursday demonstrated the generation of AI images offline on an Android smartphone using Stable Diffusion, one of the most popular generative AI tools. The company says it ran Stable Diffusion 1.5 locally on an Android smartphone powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and showed an image being generated offline in under 15 seconds.
