The latest 5G modem from Samsung Semiconductor is here with the newly announced Exynos Modem 5300. The Sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G-capable modem brings up to 10Gbps download and 3.87 Gbps upload speeds with support for both SA (standalone) and NSA (non-standalone) 5G networks. Exynos 5300 is fabbed on Samsung Foundry’s 4nm EUV process, which should bring improved power efficiency and in turn longer battery life.
