Back in February, Nothing confirmed that a Snapdragon 8 series chip would power the Phone (2), but it didn't reveal if it was an existing chip or one that would be launched in the future. A Qualcomm exec in a social media post said it would be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, but the post was later edited to remove the mention of that chip. However, we've now got final confirmation that the Nothing Phone (2) will have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 at the helm after all.
