Apple unveiled the AirTag in April 2021 for $29, which will likely get a successor in late 2024 or early 2025 if analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's prediction turns correct. Kuo predicts the AirTag 2 (tentative name) will likely enter mass production in Q4 2024 (Oct-Dec 2024) and believes the second-gen AirTag will have better integration with Apple's Vision Pro as a part of a spatial computing ecosystem.
