The vivo NEX S was introduced in China in the first half of 2018, eventually making its way to more markets in July. One of them was India, where the phone was marketed as vivo NEX and priced at INR47,990, but actually sold for INR44,990 ($650/560). Its price has been lowered once again with the start of the new year, with a current price tag of INR39,990, which is a $75/50 cut. According to sources, the reason behind the discount is simple - vivo is preparing the market for the NEX Dual Display.
