Qualcomm China posted an announcement for a local event that will take place on March 17. The American company is expected to introduce a new midranger chipset from the Snapdragon 7 series, as the Gen 1 variant also arrived in the spring. The name of the new platform is not confirmed, and rumors are suggesting the logical Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 but we could very well see Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 to match the Snapdragon 8 flagship naming scheme.
