Samsung wants to rev up the charging speeds on its future devices with its brand new power delivery (PD) chips. Both the SE8A and MM101 feature built-in embedded Flash which allows for future firmware modifications and can supply up to 100W of power across phones, tablets, laptops and monitors. Safety is another priority as the new chips will offer USB-PD 3.0 which can effectively manage charging speeds and establish the use of certified-only charging products in the case of the SE8A.
